Celeste Thompson is the CEO/Founder of Tribe HR, a human resource consulting and coaching firm. She is a 20-year Human Resources professional who partners with CEOs, executives and entrepreneurs to help determine best practices and effective methods to implement policies and procedures.

Celeste began her career in Miami as a recruiter for the Turnberry Isle Resort, followed by HR Partner positions with luxury retailers. Her journey brought her back home to her New York roots where she worked her way up through the HR ranks. When Google opened its New York office Celeste and her team were chosen to recruit the entire staff. 

For over 13 years Celeste was an integral part of the Eileen Fisher HR team. It was there that she became inspired by a culture of “respect and kindness” and set out to build her Tribe. Her mission is to help businesses not only implement best policies and practices, but also teach and coach them on how to nurture good talent, and provide them with the necessary tools to create cultures of kindness, inclusivity, and respect.

 Celeste holds a BA from St. Thomas University in Miami, Diversity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University, in addition to a myriad of other certifications that include Organizational Development and Change Management. She sits on several boards including SHARE and is a founding member of SEEDs, an organization that nurtures young women. 

Celeste is a South Orange, NJ resident and the mother of a college senior.  An admitted workaholic, when she is not helping others live their best life, she enjoys exotic travel, spending time with family and friends, listening to live music and practicing mindfulness.
